Cody has grown to be an adorable little gelding. He is still best friends with his “running buddy” Britt, & together they make quite a pair! He has the sweet, gentle nature of his Mom Katie & the small stature of his Dad Peanut, and he dearly loves attention & treats. Cody is named in honor of RW’s 21 years of service as an officer with the Dallas Police Department. He is proud of his service & his career, and he always strived to fully abide by the DPD Code of Conduct. Cody will be the perfect companion for the fortunate family who adopts him!

Named for his Dad Peanut & sweet like his Mom Molly, we think the name “Peanut Brittle” fits him perfectly!

Peanut is a wonderful jack with a loving disposition. He has great conformation and an outstanding pedigree that includes Country Music, Foust, and Pheasant Meadows Farms, Peanut has consistently produced small, well-defined foals for us for several years. We have decided to change blood lines, so Peanut has been gelded, he’s joined the ranks of “retired”, and now he’s a wonderful pet.

Jake is our precious older jack, our first investment along with Molly, Katie & Abby. At 35”, he is taller than we’d like for breeding, but Jake is the love of our lives, and we wouldn’t take a million dollars for him. He has the sweetest, most gentle disposition, loves attention, and gets lots of it! We’ll never part with him, and have had him gelded. He will enjoy his life to its fullest performing as a cart donkey.

Prancer was a wonderful Christmas gift. He began “prancing around” within an hour of birth, and hasn’t stopped since. He’s a perfect replica of his Mom, complete with a star. Prancer’s best friend is Max, and he loves people, pampering, and “prancing”! Also gelded, he will make an amazing pet.

Pearce, named for our good friend Pearce Bailey, is ALL BOY. The day he was born, he wanted to be loved, but didn’t want to be carried, so he walked beside Mom from the back pasture all the way to the barn for the night – and he hasn’t stopped running and playing since!!! He has matured out to a gray-brown with brown nose and a very sweet personality. He mixes well with the other geldings and doesn’t have a particular “buddy” – he likes them all! He’s a real sweetie & a wonderful companion.

This precious little boy has truly blessed our lives! His Mom, “Sophie” (see her story on Our Jennet page) had been badly abused before we rescued her, and it took her a long time to fully trust us and accept our love. She had this beautiful baby of her very own to love, and he has grown into a darling young man. Little Man gets along well with the other geldings and “holds his own” with any of them – he’s pretty much IN CHARGE! He & his Mom are such a wonderful part of our family, and they both share a very special bond with RW. Little Man is named in honor of a colt RW owned many years ago – it’s only fitting this perfect little guy has come into our circle of love!
